The role
Job Purpose
To support customer outstanding management, timely collection, ledger reconciliation and credit control activities.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor customer-wise outstanding and ageing reports.
Follow up with customers for pending and overdue payments.
Maintain daily collection and outstanding records.
Prepare Ageing Analysis and Collection MIS.
Coordinate with customers for payment commitments and payment status.
Reconcile customer ledgers and resolve differences.
Coordinate with Sales & Accounts for payment-related issues.
Track invoices, credit notes, debit notes, TDS deductions and short payments.
Monitor customer credit limits and highlight overdue accounts.
Support credit hold/release activities as per management instructions.
Maintain proper records of customer communications and collection follow-ups.
Prepare daily/weekly collection reports for management.
Support month-end receivable closing and reporting.
Assist in reducing overdue and long-pending outstanding.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in B.Com / Finance / Accounting.
2–5 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Collections.
Manufacturing/B2B industry experience preferred.
Skills
Good knowledge of accounts receivable and credit control.
Good MS Excel & MIS skills.
SAP/ERP knowledge preferred.
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Strong numerical and analytical ability.
Organized, disciplined and target-oriented.
What we need from you
Results-driven Accounts Receivable and Credit Control professional with 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Collections, Customer Reconciliation, Credit Risk Assessment, MIS Reporting and SAP-based financial operations.
